Dr Agata Golawska Moody graduated from Wroclaw Medical University. She completed core training in psychiatry and higher training in General Adult Psychiatry with endorsement in Rehabilitation Psychiatry in North West (Health Education England North West).
Dr Golawska Moody is a Member of Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) since 2013. She is also a member of Royal College Faculty of Rehabilitation Psychiatry and a member of Manchester Medical Society. Dr Golawska Moody works on the locked neuropsychiatry rehabilitation unit for men with acquired brain injury and neurodegenerative conditions.
Dr Golawska Moody worked as a substantive consultant psychiatrist on 24 bedded acute female inpatient ward at North Manchester General Hospital. She provided care to ethnically diverse group of patient with complex needs, treatment resistance and high risk.
She was a clinical supervisor for foundation doctors, core trainees in psychiatry and for GP trainees. She also took part in education of medical students. Dr Golawska Moody holds approval under the section 12 of the Mental Health Act and she is also an Approved Clinician under The Mental Health Act.
Dr Golawska Moody started her psychiatric training in Lower Silesian Centre of Mental Health in Wroclaw, Poland. She continued training in psychiatry in North West of England.
Dr Golawska Moody has experience in treating affective disorders (depression, treatment resistant depression, bipolar disorder), dual diagnosis- addictions and psychiatric conditions, anxiety disorders, psychosis and severe and enduring psychotic illness requiring rehabilitation.
